The Co-Author with Cassandra postings are intended to be steeped in educational practice and research. The postings serve multiple purposes. Primarily, this section is about addressing hot topic concerns with research-based solutions and practitioner based experiences and insights regarding those solutions. Posts are offered as a means to help all educators lead the way to meaningful and successful change so everyone can learn.
In addition, this section serves to give voice to practitioners in the field who have great stories and ideas worth sharing but who either 1) haven’t the time in their busy schedules to generate their own formal writing medium for sharing those thoughts; or, 2) seek additional research or national perspective to support their thinking. Posts are co-authored in a full partnership with equal distribution of the work and collaborative ‘sign off’s’ before publication.
